The Casablanca Valley is Chile’s youngest wine region located only 60 minutes to the northwest of Santiago en route to the coast and port city of Valparaiso. The Aconcagua Valley, named after Mount Aconcagua – the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere – offers an exquisite blend of captivating landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Located only 60 minutes to the north of Santiago, this valley is known for producing excellent ripe, fruity wines, especially Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
The Colchagua Wine Valley is considered to be one of the best wine-grape growing areas not only in Chile, but in South America, boasting some of Chile’s most prestigious wines. Located 2.5 to 3 hours south of Santiago, this valley has earned much applause for its full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, and Malbec.
