Your tour begins with your hotel pick up. Meet your guide and board a private vehicle heading north for an hour to Chile’s beautiful Aconcagua Valley.
You will first visit Viña Errazuriz, where you will enjoy this lovely winery nestled on the western slopes of the Andes Mountains. You will learn about the history of the descendants of this marvelous place and how the winery has evolved into its current state producing some of the finest wines in Chile and the world. We will visit the underground cellars, walk around the vineyard, and head to a lookout point and the new Icon Wine Cellar before a wonderful wine tasting of the vineyard’s premium reserves.
Then, you will visit the boutique Viña El Escorial located in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley. The vineyard grows 16 different varietals and is one of the few vineyards in Chile specializing in the production of high altitude wines, harvesting their grapes at more than 4,800 feet above sea level. The vineyard focuses its work on high-quality wines at affordable prices and makes a special effort to offer the best experience to its visitors.
Afterwards, there will be time for lunch (not included) at “Juan y Medio”, a countryside rustic restaurant located in an old Catholic Monastery where the monks used to make “church” wine.
Please note:
(1) The order of the vineyards visited may vary.
(2) Although this is a private tour with your own vehicle and guide, there may be other visitors at the vineyards joining you on the winery tours and tastings, which is beyond our control.
